What we do at Blykalla
Blykalla is developing the next generation of nuclear technology with our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) based on innovative fuel, materials, and reactor designs. As Sweden’s only SMR developer, we are on a mission to decarbonize industries and enable safe, scalable, and sustainable energy solutions. Our technology uses uranium nitride fuel and lead coolant, creating novel challenges and opportunities for the fuel cycle and supporting systems.
What you’ll get to do
As Supply Chain Manager in our team, you will play a crucial role in Supply Chain and Procurement at Blykalla. Your focus will be on establishing and maintaining effective partnerships, ensuring compliance with standards, and contributing to the efficient and successful development of our SMRs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand technical requirements, timelines, and objectives.
Analyze the market to identify potential Nuclear Systems partners or suppliers meeting our project requirements.
Develop and execute Supply Chain strategies for Nuclear Systems and Services critical to the development of Blykalla’s projects and SMRs.
Conduct the Blykalla Sourcing process towards potential partners or suppliers.
Manage the contractual discussion with the chosen partners and suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
Implement and ensure that the procurement process is in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements during the project.
Support the Head of Supply Chain in overseeing the entire Sourcing to Pay cycle.
Manage Supply Chain related risks and develop applicable contingency plans.
Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure compliance of the Supply Chain and Procurement activities with environmental, health, and safety standards.
Who you are
You will be part of a highly skilled team with a can-do attitude. We value personal chemistry and strive to create a workplace where you enjoy coming to. There are however a few things that we think will help you to succeed in this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven track record from previous Technical projects and/or from negotiating contracts and managing Nuclear suppliers.
Several years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement, preferably from the Nuclear energy sector or any other highly technical-highly regulated industries (automotive, aerospace…).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Fluent in English, spoken and written, Swedish or any other language as a plus.

This position is located in our office in Stockholm.
