What you’ll get to do
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Events & Logistics Coordinator to take full ownership of Blykalla’s global event presence.
As Blykalla continues to grow, conferences and exhibitions have become a key pillar of our marketing and brand strategy. We are now looking for someone to manage, guide, and continuously improve this area. This role goes beyond supporting the marketing team; it is about ownership, strategic thinking, and execution excellence.
You will join one of Sweden’s most dynamic companies during an unprecedented growth phase. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the energy industry, develop strong negotiation and coordination skills, and build deep expertise in event production and marketing within the global startup ecosystem.
As the primary point of contact for all event-related activities, you will free up valuable time for our leadership team while ensuring Blykalla is represented flawlessly on the global stage.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
Own a dedicated Events inbox and manage all communication from invitation to follow-up
Act as the primary point of contact for event organizers, assessing relevance and ROI
Coordinate speaker and attendance requests with relevant internal stakeholders
Strategic Planning & Research
Maintain a global/mastrt events calendar with key deadlines and milestones
Research and recommend conferences and exhibitions aligned with company strategy
Ensure event messaging and assets are current and accessible
Logistics & Operations
Manage digital materials for conferences and exhibitions
Coordinate travel, accommodation, and shipment of event materials
Provide on-site support for booth setup and exhibition logistics when required
Working Style & Expectations
Non-linear schedule: Please note that this role is not a single 10-hour block of work. Because event organizers expect timely responses, your hours will be spread across the week to handle inbound requests and daily check-ins as they happen. You are expected to stay lightly available on Slack/email during the whole work week and jump in when things come up.
High initiative: You are expected to lead the process. You’ll take ownership of the process and keep things moving. You’ll flag upcoming deadlines, and approach new opportunities.
An administrative star: As part of a fast-growing team, you are expected to build out processes and invent systems for organizing that don't yet exist. You will have to provide clear updates to the team, and get team members onboard with new system/s.
Who’ll you’ll get to work with
The Events and Logistics Coordinator sits in the Marketing Team within Blykalla, and reports to the Communication manager. We are a diverse team that is passionate about our work and Blykalla.
Location: Remote, with occasional travel for event support
Engagement: Part-time (~10-15 hours per week)
Schedule: Distributed across the week (daily responsiveness required)

Experience: Previous experience in event coordination, project management, or as an executive assistant is a strong bonus.
Communication: As an external representative of the company, you need to have exceptional communication skills in English and Swedish, and a service-oriented professional tone.
Organization: Strong organizational skills and a reliable follow-through mindset.
Tools: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Calendar).
Flexibility: Willingness to travel to event locations for setup and teardown if necessary.

About Blykalla
Blykalla is Sweden's only SMR vendor, commercializing lead-cooled fast reactors for industrial use. Based on 20+ years of research, their SEALER technology is a compact 55 MWe unit designed to offer a safe, efficient, and scalable power solution.
